McMillan Group provided the concept design for the GE Healthcare Institute for Diagnostic Imaging. The main entrance to set the tone for a collegial atmosphere. Large scale murals with integrated video screens provided context and changing information to keep visitors informed.
Functioning areas of the Center were visually open for visitors to see the activity happening inside. Projection onto specially treated film on the glass divider mirrored details of the on-screen content.
Content rich interpretive zones provided layered information to accommodate the range from the casual walk-by to deep dive stops of VIP tours.
Interactive areas were planned into the flow of traffic throughout the Center. This sliding 60" LED screen revealed information that builds in the background screens as the LED screen moves across.
Throughout the Center, McMillan Group created themed information and quiet zones such as the heritage lobby example above.
Working with the GE Healthcare marketing and facilities experts, McMillan Group developed concepts for a
highly interactive Customer Center in Waukesha, WI. This new Customer Center design expressed GE’s leadership in the healthcare industry and demonstrated command of new technologies, delivering their promise of “imagination
at work.”
