McMillan Group designed a new demonstration space to augment the Johnson Controls Customer Center they had designed previously. The entry for the customer experience was highly tactile with contrasting recycled surface textures and lighting that simulated the sky at that time of day.
Breaking from traditional formats of executive briefing centers, McMillan Group created this highly flexible and comprehensive interactive presentation zone.
The presentation zone used holographic projection and a large multi-touch screen to literally encircle the customers with applicable and customizable content. Remote sites, power distribution and other concepts were more clearly represented in the surrounding environment.
Contrasting the high energy presentation zone were a series of quiet lounge-like areas that promoted one on one or sidebar conversations.
A high quality cafe area was stocked with healthy snacks, espresso and soft drinks. To the left was the customer dining room.
Illuminated columns rose from ground level in this gallery space with various stations revealing systems used to demonstrate how Johnson Controls' products help a broad range of building types and automation solutions.
Ten years after McMillan Group created the original Johnson Controls Customer Center in Milwaukee, WI, we developed concepts for an additional space as a demonstration center to showcase the newer integrated automated building control systems providing customizable experiences with tangible interactive proof of Johnson Controls' products in action.
