Overview:
We are independent exhibit designers specializing in corporate and museum design, architectural design and communication design for trade show exhibits, corporate events, museum exhibitions, corporate customer centers, executive briefing centers, exhibit graphic standards and corporate multi-division global exhibit programs.
McMillan Group delivers inspired creativity with award winning exhibition design and communication environments by utilizing multidisciplinary design skills and services including: experience design, architectural design, interior design, lighting design, special FX design, video design and interactive design. We produce effective face-to-face marketing environments for our clients, as well as immersive, educational and meaningful experiences for their visitors and customers.
With our turnkey process, we work with corporate client teams and museum curators to conduct research, master planning, content development and design development to find the unifying story or theme that delivers brand distinction and becomes the essence of a memorable customer experience.
With client input at every phase of design, we value engineer for cost effective production as well as finding the best resources, then facilitating and providing analysis for a supplier bid process, acting as advocates for our clients.
With detail oriented project management, we oversee budgets, schedules and quality control of each project. We manage the production of fabrication, video, interactive, AV and lighting programming by our clients’ strategic partners and supplier teams.
As executive producers we champion the design vision, maintain design integrity and lead production teams with trust, understanding and diplomacy for the best exhibit design solution results.

- Sequential exhibits since 2007 for 35,000 sq. ft. GE Healthcare at the Radiology Society of North America Show including winning the top award
from the Event Marketers 2011 ExAwards in the trade show exhibit category
- Global exhibit programs for GE in 1995 and 2005 including exhibit architectural and graphic standards guidelines
- The design for the museum exhibition tour of “Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs”
- An interactive exhibit on future technology sponsored by GE at Epcot Center in Disney World
- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex exhibition in New York in 2008
- The “Showcase for Building Environments,” a customer visitor center for Johnson Controls in Milwaukee
- The (6) time awarding winning 17,000 sq. ft. exhibit for Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation at the Heli-Expo show developed sequentially since 2008.
